Avanti Finance Recognised at 2025 Financial Services Federation (FSF) Awards

Avanti Finance is proud to have been recognised for its innovative, collaborative, and people-first culture at the Financial Services Federation (FSF) Awards 2025.

Avanti Finance’s Strategic Delivery team took home the Team Spirit Award, a category celebrating high-performing teams that embody their organisation’s values and deliver initiatives that benefit both the business and its customers. The win acknowledges the team’s relentless drive to challenge the status quo, work across functions, and deliver complex change at pace.

Over the past 12 months, the Strategic Delivery team has evolved from a small task force into the transformation engine of Avanti Finance. They’ve led a series of key initiatives focused on improving processes, enhancing customer experience, and enabling growth across the business. The team’s curious, entrepreneurial, and collaborative mindset is a true representation of Avanti’s values and how we’re advancing specialist lending in New Zealand and Australia.

Avanti Finance was also delighted to see Mark Sutton, Head of Customer Service & Facilities, shortlisted for the Workplace Champion Award. This category acknowledges backstage heroes who consistently go above and beyond to support their organisation and colleagues. Mark’s nomination recognises his dedication to Avanti’s people and customers, and his relentless effort in empowering the Customer Service team and supporting the broader business.

“These achievements reflect exactly what Avanti Finance is about – an entrepreneurial mindset that’s shaping the future of lending, and a ‘people first’ value that sits at the centre of everything we do,” said Fred Ohlsson, Group CEO. “We’re incredibly proud of our Strategic Delivery team and Mark.”

Avanti Finance would like to thank the Financial Services Federation (FSF) and the award judges for the recognition and congratulate all winners and finalists across the industry.
