Financial Hardship Support

If you’re worried about meeting your loan repayments, please give us a call as soon as you can on 0800 808 003. The earlier you call, the earlier we can consider what we can do to help. We understand circumstances may change. Our team of specialists have helped many customers recover from financial difficulties and get back on track.

What is hardship and who's eligible?

If the reason behind your financial difficulty is an unexpected change in your personal circumstances, like the loss of your job, an illness or a relationship breakdown, you may be eligible for the statutory hardship process.

If you are eligible, you can ask us to make changes to your loan – like short-term repayment relief or restructuring your loan so you have longer to pay.

If you think you may be eligible, it’s important that you apply as soon as possible, because time limits do apply.
