Auto Simplification

Frequently Asked Questions for Avanti Staff

  • To simplify our offering under a single brand and give all introducers access to our full range of auto products. This makes us a one-stop shop for auto lending.
  • All introducers will get access to a new Tier 1 product, which comes with a higher lending amount as well as structured payment options.
  • Refer to our Internal Product Guide for full details.
  • No more BFS NZ or Finance Central brands, it’s just Avanti.
  • All introducers get access to four pricing tiers.
  • All introducers will have access to structured payments via Tier 1.
  • Introducers who previously didn’t have BFS access will have a higher maximum loan amount in Tier 1.

This is part of simplifying our business so we can deliver the best lending solutions and experiences across all customer segments. Previously, we had three auto brands, which caused confusion and delays while introducers determined which brand was most appropriate for each deal. Now, with a single unified brand, we can serve a broader range of customers more efficiently.

Here’s how different application stages are affected:

  • Data Captured or Lender Assessment, stages
Must be settled by Monday, 25 August 2025 to retain current pricing/tiers.
  • Approved, Conditionally Approved, Contracts Ready, Contracts Completed, Verification, Settlements On Hold, or Awaiting Settlement stages
Must be settled by Monday, 25 August 2025 to retain current pricing/tiers.
Or before 25 August 2025, the application will need to be re-keyed using the new pricing structure, or the introducer can contact us to request that the application be moved back to Lender Assessment to select new pricing (and be re-documented if required).

Yes, with Tier 1, we have four different price points that are assigned to dealers based on several factors. Our introducers will not see all the options; they will only see the price relevant to them.

Tier 1 uses the current BFS LVR; Tiers 2, 3 and 4 use the current Avanti LVR.

Details will be shared in the post go-live release.
