We’ve recently updated our New Zealand Privacy Policy to reflect changes to NZ privacy laws relating to the indirect collection of personal information. Under the new law, we’re required to take reasonable steps to inform borrowers and guarantors who we indirectly collect personal data from:
- That the information has been collected
- The purpose of the collection
- The intended recipients of the information
- The name and address of the agency that is collecting and holding the information
- Whether the collection is authorised or required by law, and which law applies
- Your right to access and correct your information.
Our updated policy is effective from Thursday, 30 April 2026.
