Help with Personal and Vehicle Loans

We know that Coronavirus may be making it difficult for our customers to meet their usual repayments on their loan, especially with the recent Government announcement to move to alert level 4. This could be due to sickness, a loss of employment or a reduction in business income. If you're struggling to make your loan repayments due to the Coronavirus, you may be eligible for up to 3 months of reduced or deferred repayments on personal loans (including vehicle loans).

If you would prefer to print out the form to complete it, you can download this Change in Circumstance form. Then email the form to and attach any supporting documents, such as a letter from your employer (if possible).

Help with your Mortgage

Mortgage Payment Deferrals

As a non-bank lender, Avanti isn’t yet covered by the recently announced Government support package agreed with the Reserve Bank and major banks. However, while we’re still having ongoing discussions with the relevant Government agencies, we believe it’s important to provide our customers with as much certainty as we can during these uncertain times. That’s why we’ve decided to help customers who have been affected by COVID-19 regardless.

Depending on your circumstances, you may be eligible for up to 6 months of reduced or deferred repayments on your home loan.

Variable Mortgage Interest Rate Review

After reviewing our funding costs we are pleased to confirm that we are able to pass on a .50% (half a percent) rate reduction to all of our Long-term mortgage customers. This change will be effective from your next payment after April 1. All customers affected will receive a letter and confirmation of this over the next 3-7 days. 

As all of our other loans are on fixed interest rates there will be no interest changes to these.
